In approaching the world cup many question the safety of going to Brazil. Scientist at Harvard conducted a study that found 3 big clusters of disease that emerge in people who visit Brazil. The 3rd most common disease was feverish blights such as malaria. The second was traveler’s diarya. And the unexpected most common illness was skin worms. This makes sense when you consider many tourists who visit Brazil go to the coast, and the leading skin worm was cutaneous larva margins, hookworms that live on the beaches and can penetrate a bare skin. However for the world cup the biggest fear is yellow fever or malaria as 4 of the 12 stadiums are located in places where these diseases are frequently found.

INCONVENIENT truth why do they believe in science when it helps them?

The reason they believe in science when it helps them (medicine, technology) and they don’t believe in climate change is because first, medicine helps them and when they need help they believe more because they want to get better. But when the science does not help them they don’t believe in so they say science is always wrong god is right and everything is going to turn out fine. Secondly, it hasn’t got personal to them but say if a medicine or some sort of science saved one of there relatives or family members they believe in it. But when its not personal to them yet they think its going to be fine but eventually with there job if one of their relatives or family looses their job and can not put food on the table for their family then eventually their going to have to believe in science. In conclusion, I think everyone should learn about this because science shows that we are causing global warming and we need to stop it.
